You may have seen a rally going on outside of the Allen County Courthouse as Fort Wayne for Peace, the Indiana Palestine Solidarity Network, members of the Jewish Community, and concerned citizens of diverse religious backgrounds came together to support peace and justice in Gaza and Palestine.

Sam Jarjour's parents immigrated from Syria, and he says his parents witnessed the mass exodus of Palestinians upon the creation of their state.

Jarjour says this issue has been instilled in him from a very young age.

"In the American media, what we see a lot of is Israel's only defending itself, Hamas using children as human shields, etc.  That's one, taken out of context, two I think it's intellectually dishonest.  What I'm trying to promote today one is, overall peace in Israel Palestine, but two to show that there's another side to this story and to present them as human beings because a lot of them are going to be here today.  They're mothers, fathers, children, students, and very good people, and American citizens."

These rallies have been going on all around the world with 50,000 people attending in London and more than 200 in Indianapolis.  All coming together to promote peace in Gaza.
