A mother and father are pleading for information about the safety of their fourteen year old daughter, after they discovered her missing from her bedroom at their home in Decatur. "We just want her to know that we love her. We want to know that she's safe, and we just want her to come home. I want her to call somebody, anybody, and just let them know that she's safe."
14 year old Addie Elzey had a friend sleepover on Friday night. Addie's Stepmom Tricia Elzey was shocked to discover that only the friend was still at their home on Saturday morning. "She came out in the living room, and I told her she might as well watch tv because Addie doesn't usually get up til 11 or 12. And she said 'Addie's not in her room.' And I said what do you mean she's not in her room? And she wasn't in her room, and she was gone."
Addie left her clothes and cellphone. Addie's parents say she ran away with her 15 year old boyfriend Justin Carr, his sister 14 year old Ashley Carr, and Ashley's 18 year old boyfriend Jeremiah King.
Her dad Matt Elzey has spent hours searching. "Saturday night in Fort Wayne until about 2 in the morning. Then came back here and I walked the town for about another two hours. Went to bed at 4:00 got up at 6:00, and started all over again."
Numerous attempts to reach the Decatur Police department were not returned. But Addie's parents say that a red Ford Taurus, was stolen from Decatur right about the same time these four teenagers went missing.
In the meantime, the parents beg for anyone with information about there whereabouts to come forward. And Tricia has this heartbreaking message for her stepdaughter. "We love you, so much. You're not in trouble, we aren't mad, we just want to know that you're ok."
If you have any information about any of the four teenagers missing, please contact the Decatur Police department.
