The aftermath of this winter weather continues, as homeowners in Huntington are still trying to bounce back from the major flooding they've been experiencing since all of the snow has started to melt.

WFFT visited a homeowner who tells us she's very lucky to still have her home with only minor damage.

"It got very close, but it's the worst we've seen it in 30 years.  We've never seen it across the street.  We had to leave the house in a row-boat, had to evacuate that way.  Several organizations come around and check to see how we're doing.  We've had the Red Cross come and give us buckets for some clean-up work, our neighbors have gotten already in touch with contractors."

Neighbors tell us they are waiting to hear if their area will be declared as a State of Emergency.
