A Fort Wayne Community School bus was involved in a crash as the bus was traveling southbound on Clinton to go pick up students at Anthis Career Center.

A car traveling eastbound on State ran into the bus.  The woman driving the car had to be cut from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital.

Krista Stockman with Fort Wayne Community Schools says this is some of the worst damage they've seen to one of their buses.

"At the same time, had there been students in there, we think they might have had some bumps and bruises but they would have by and large been ok.  The inside of the bus doesn't appear to be damaged.  I think that speaks to the safety of the bus but then again, you see the damage behind us."

There were no students involved in the crash and the driver of the school bus was not injured.
