Again I & M is asking you to hold back on your energy usage tomorrow. Especially between 6- 10 A-M and then again between 5-9.

Indiana Michigan Power is asking all customers to cut-back  on their power  usage on Tuesday, due to the cold temperatures in our region.  There is a fear of overloading the grid.

For local pastor Richard Pagan, these subzero temps aren't only bone chilling, they're a major brain freeze..

"The pipes busted and the water was everywhere,” said Pagan.

Pagan has been preparing to move into his new home, but after the pipes burst,  water then seeped into the vents and flooded his house.

Jeff Calder, a 30-year-veteran technician with Coe  heating and air says he’s been working non-stop since Saturday. Adding, that many of the calls he is responding to are avoidable.

“Normal failures from wear and tear but I've also seen a lack of maintenance , not checking filters and some snow related instances that are somewhat avoidable,” said Calder.

Indiana Michigan Power asks that you cut-back on power usage between 6-10 a.m and again between 5-9 p.m.
