The Police Athletic League (PAL) was formed in Fort Wayne 50 years ago by nine police officers who wanted to help kids in the community through sports. PAL is committed to provide a safe environment where the youth of the city can have fun, learn sports and practice good sportsmanship.  PAL offers sports such as Basketball, Tennis, Cheerleading, Football, and Self-Defense.  In fact, PAL was the home to NFL Greats Rod Woodson and Jason Fabini.

PAL is a national organization that believes it is easier to build a child, then mend an adult, and focuses on engaging both boys and girls in positive activities that will help keep them on the right path.

As of today there are over 1,700 facilities helping over one million kids.
