Edon School Evacuates After Bomb Threat
Police in the small town of Edon, Ohio in Williams County are investigating a bomb threat at their local school campus.
The Edon Northwest Local School District was dismissed early Wednesday afternoon after police say a student discovered a bomb threat written on a wall. Hundreds of students in Kindergarten through 12th grade were evacuated from the school and bused to a nearby community center.
Students at the school tell WFFT there was a similar bomb threat several years ago. Toledo police arrived at the school Wednesday evening to search for explosive devices using a K9 unit. The all-clear was given around 8:30 p.m.
