The mentoring organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NE Indiana, held their 11th annual Brad Miller Golf Outing Monday.

Over 360 people came out to play a round of golf and support a good cause. Last year the organization exceeded their goal and raised $280 thousand dollars. This year, they were able to surpass that with a grand total of $385 thousand dollars at the Saturday night gala here at the Memorial Coliseum.

"We're blessed to have Brad Miller, he's a former little in our program. And he brings all of his retired NBA talent to this event," said Shelley Scwab of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

With over 400 kids on the waiting list, Big Brothers Big Sisters is in urgent need of mentors. If you have an hour to spare each week, volunteer to be "big" by calling (260) 456-1600.
