We have the look at the percentage winnings from the Districts of 83, 84, and 85 seats.

District 83:  Christopher Judy unseats the incumbent Kathy Heuer with 57% of the vote.

District 84 was close but the incumbent Bob Morris squeaks on by just about 40 votes.  He wins at 51%.

Casey Cox was appointed to that last year after the passing of Phyllis Pond.  Cox wins as the incumbent with 42% of the vote.

District 83 is Whitley County, Columbia City, and Aboite.

District 84 includes north and northeast Fort Wayne.

District 85, that seat vacated by the late Pond, is East Allen County and New Haven.

Even with reports of low turnout these three races were considered highly contested with multiple Republicans running for those seats.

WFFT caught up with Casey Cox at his celebration party at Red Rock in Downtown Fort Wayne.  He says his appointing last year, and brief stint as District 85 Rep helped him prepare him for this election and now looks forward to November.
