If you haven't heard already, there's a new sandwich joint in town and it's pretty cool!

Central City Cafe is what Cheryl Toscos is calling her new cafe, located smack dab in the middle of Downtown Fort Wayne.

Cheryl has been in the restaurant industry for many years and spent several of those years designing restaurants.

The unique design of her restaurant is probably the first thing you'll notice when you walk in.

"It's a very metropolitan feel.  It's something that a lot of people are saying you can't find in Fort Wayne.  It's got a very upscale feel.  It's modern, industrial, we have the garage door feature which everybody loves.  There's exposed brick, the steel staircase.  Upstairs seats 49 people for banquets and meetings."

The restaurant features a 14 foot long salad and sandwich bar with 60 items to choose from.  Fresh breads are bakes daily and whatever you create is $0.59 cents an ounce.

The restaurant had their grand opening and they are now open 10:30am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday.
