FORT WAYNE, In. -- Nine year old Aden and WFFT's Kristen Kirchhaine spent time together at The Plex talking about why Aden would like a Big Brother.

"So I could get away from the house, because it's boring there. I don't have nothing to do but play games and watch T.V."

The summer would be more fun with places to go and a Big Brother to hang out with. The summer routine now is pretty basic.

"Play, watch TV, lay down, go to sleep, eat."

Aden has a large family.

"Four brothers, one sister."

But they don't always get along.

"They always being mean to me."

Aden would just like to hang out with someone who will be nice to him. He also hopes a future Big shares his love for basketball.

"I play basketball a lot."

Although he has a deep love for the sport, he's never been to a Mad Antz game, but would love to go. Aden said his favorite pro-basketball player is Chris Paul.

"He shoots threes, he makes his free throws, and he's got the best handles in the NBA."

Aden hopes to be a professional basketball player someday. But in the meantime, he enjoys skating, bowling, Sky Zone, Crazy Pinz, and going out for fast food. If you would like to help make a positive impact in Aden's life and become his Big Brother, just call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 456-1600.
