Brodrick serves with the 1-7 Weapons Company. Brodrick attended Huntington North High School and graduated in 2002.
After receiving the award, he said he will wear it proudly, but it's not really for him. It's for the Marines who didn't make it home.
"It feels good and it's great to be awarded. However as I told other people, I'd give it back in a heartbeat to get back the two Marines we lost. I'd give it right up."
We here at WFFT Local want to send a huge thank you to Sergeant Joshua Brodrick for his bravery and his service. You are a true hometown hero and thank you to all of those active duty soldiers and veterans.
